Hi, I am Jun.
Me and my family has just returned Japan after 8 year's absence.
My 10-year-old boy and 14-year-old-boy are looking for English books they can read. I looked for many bookstores, but I was not able to find English books for them such as chapter books and novels.
The elder one likes fantasy and SF novels. The younger one likes "Tom Gates series" and the books written by Roald Dahl.
Could you please tell me where do you buy English books in Kyoto?

Hi!
You can visit KyotoSayonara sales. Many foreigners sell for 100-500 yen or even give books for free there.
